How long is the power cord on kilns?

Generally the length of the power cord for a kiln is 5-6'.

Jen-Ken kilns are 6' max length.

Evenheat can special order a kiln with up to a 10' cord if necessary; simply add it to your order notes.

Note: We recommend against ordering a longer cord as it's a general rule with high power kilns to keep your power lines short and "bring the kiln to the power" rather than "bringing the power to the kiln". A long power line is more likely to tear and get tripped over as the years pass, and can become a safety hazard.
